Terms of Service

1. Agreement

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the products and services offered by Younify Tech Limited (“Younify Tech”, “we”, “us”), a company registered in England & Wales, company number 15449518. Our products include the Zap mobile app (“Zap”) and the younifytech.com website. By creating an account or using our products, you agree to these Terms.

2. Who can use our services

You must be at least 13 years old (or the minimum digital consent age in your country, whichever is higher) to use our products. By using them you confirm you meet this requirement and that any information you give us is accurate and yours to give.

3. Your account

You are responsible for keeping your phone number and device secure. Activity on your account is your responsibility. Tell us immediately at support@younifytech.com if you believe your account has been used without your permission.

4. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

• Use our products to harass, threaten, defame, or abuse anyone.
• Send unsolicited commercial messages, spam, or bulk messages.
• Upload content that is illegal, sexually explicit involving minors, or promotes violence or discrimination.
• Impersonate another person or misrepresent your identity.
• Reverse-engineer, scrape, or access our systems by unauthorised means.
• Circumvent rate limits, security controls, or access controls.
• Use automated scripts, bots, or third-party clients to interact with our services.
• Use our services in a way that violates any applicable law.

We may suspend or terminate accounts that breach these rules, with or without notice.

5. Your content

You keep ownership of the voice messages, pictures, and other content you create. By sending content through our products, you grant us a worldwide, non-exclusive, royalty-free licence to host, store, process, reproduce, and transmit that content solely for the purpose of running the service and delivering it to the recipients you choose. This licence ends when the content is deleted, except where we're legally required to retain it.

6. In-app purchases

Where we offer in-app items such as coins, purchases are processed by Apple (App Store) or Google (Play Store) and governed by their respective terms. In-app items are non-refundable and non-transferable except as required by law or at our discretion.

7. Our intellectual property

Younify Tech, Zap, the Zap logo, and the design of our products are ours or our licensors' property. These Terms do not grant you any ownership or licence to use them beyond what is necessary to use the products as intended.

8. Service changes

Our products evolve. We may add, change, remove, or suspend features at any time. We try to give reasonable notice of significant changes, but that is not always possible.

9. Termination

You can stop using our products at any time and can delete your account from inside the app (Settings → Delete Account). We may terminate or suspend your access if you breach these Terms, if we believe your activity risks the safety of other users, or if we are required to by law. On termination, your right to use our products ends immediately.

10. Disclaimers

Our products are provided “as is” and “as available” without warranties of any kind, to the fullest extent permitted by law. We do not guarantee that the service will be uninterrupted, error-free, or that content will be stored without loss. Nothing in these Terms limits your statutory rights as a consumer.

11. Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Younify Tech is not liable for indirect, incidental, special, or consequential damages arising out of your use of our products, or for any loss of data, revenue, or profit. Nothing here limits our liability for fraud, death, or personal injury caused by our negligence, or any other liability that cannot be limited by law.

12. Indemnity

You agree to indemnify Younify Tech against claims, losses, and expenses arising from your breach of these Terms, your content, or your misuse of our products.

13. Governing law & disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales. Any dispute will be resolved in the courts of England & Wales, except where mandatory consumer law in your country of residence gives you the right to bring proceedings locally.

14. Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we will notify you via the app or by email. The current version is always available at /terms-of-service on this site. Continued use after a change means you accept the new Terms.
